TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – The Seminole Intercollegiate tee’d off at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday. 21 teams from around the country battled on the course throughout the day because of expected storms on Monday. Most teams only have a couple holes remaining for round two.
Florida state leads at four-under par. The Seminoles are the only under par team and nd have a nine stoke lead.
World number-nine Tyler Weaver impressing as expected. He’s shot four-under overall and is two strokes back of the individual lead.
Carson Brewer also came to play well in the home tournament. He drove the green on the short, but dangerous, par four eighth hole and knocked in a midrange birdie putt to continue rolling. He sits at two-under par.
Both Weaver and Brewer have three holes left to go in round two..
Wilmer Edero is at 1-over for the ‘Noles.. A great start from Jack Whaley was wiped out as he went six-over over his final seven holes of round two.
He can try to rebound and Florida State can try to extend its lead when play resumes Monday at 4pm. Round three will go off as scheduled on Tuesday morning.
