On Monday, the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office announced the death of Deputy Naomi Dubreus, who passed away on Saturday surrounded by loved ones.
A cause of death was not provided by the sheriff’s office.
The sheriff’s office provided the following statement:
“Deputy Dubreus was more than a member of our agency; she was a devoted wife and mother, a loving daughter and sister, a trusted colleague, and a cherished friend to many. Her commitment to serving others reflected the very best of our profession.
