PORT ST. LUCIE – Two people were taken into custody on March 11 at a home in the 200 block of Southwest Christmas Avenue, Port St. Lucie for allegedly possessing and selling controlled substances, according to Port St. Lucie Police reports.
Patricia Lynn Spencer, 67, and Kyle E. Malcolm, 39, were each charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, following a search at the home at about 11:15 a.m., March 11, according to police reports.
The police Special Investigations Division and SWAT team conducted the search and arrests following controlled buys in which 15 grams of methamphetamine and six grams of fentanyl were found at the home.
In addition, Spencer was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana under 20 grams and possession/use of drug equipment.
Malcolm also was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and a misdemeanor charge of possession/use of drug equipment.
As of March 16, Spencer is being held at the St. Lucie County Jail on a $112,000 bond, according to jail records.
