FBI Investigating Suspicious Package At MacDill Air Force Base

TAMPA — The FBI was on the scene Monday after a suspicious package was reported at MacDill Air Force Base, leading to gate and road closures in the area, according to federal authorities.

The package was reported at the visitors center near the Dale Mabry entrance gate, FBI Tampa said in a social media post.

“Our Special Agent Bomb Techs are on scene along with Tampa Police,” according to the FBI.
