A wonderful weekend in store for Tallahassee, the Big Bend and South Georgia

  • October 24, 2025

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – With so many events this weekend, the weather is looking like it will cooperate for the most part.

The Greek Festival in Tallahassee is underway today and the weather is spectacular if you are heading to the event this evening. Temperatures in the 70s under dry skies.

Tonight temperatures will be cool, but not as chilly in the low 50s. You still may need the light jacket if you plan on heading out early Saturday morning for errands or your walk with the dog.

Temperatures warm into the low 80s this afternoon. The area is hosting another great event in Perry. The Florida Forrest Festival kicks off Saturday. The parade is downtown at 9:30 a.m., and there will be festivities all day.

Valdosta State’s homecoming is this weekend, too. So if you are heading to the VSU game, the weather will be warm in the mid-80s for temperatures during the game with sunny skies.

Sunday is when some changes arrive in our forecast. The day will be partly to mostly cloudy, keeping temperatures in the upper 70s and low 80s. A cold front will approach the area late on Sunday into Monday. As the cold front passes, this will be our highest chance of showers and a few storms.

Most of the day on Sunday will be dry, but look for showers and storms as early as dinnertime through the early overnight hours, and stay with the weather team as the timing and impacts become clearer over the next few days. Afternoon temperatures will be in the upper 70s to low 80s.

Monday may feature some lingering clouds and showers before the cold front exits the area. Highs in the upper 70s.

More fall-like weather next week with temperatures in the 70s in the afternoon and morning lows in the 40s.
