DENTON, Texas (KLTV) — Former Jacksonville Maiden Riley Todd drove in a run in Texas Woman’s 10-2 win over Western New Mexico in the first game of a doubleheader sweep on Sunday.
Batting eighth and starting in left field, the senior batted 1-for-2 with a walk, an RBI and a run. Todd hit an RBI single in the first inning.
Texas Woman’s won the second game, 7-4. Todd had an RBI single.
For the season, Todd has nine RBIs and a .286 batting average.
Texas Woman’s (13-13, 10-6) is tied for fifth place in the Lone Star Conference. It hosts Oklahoma Baptist in a doubleheader at 3 p.m. Wednesday.
