CRAWFORDVILLE, Fla. (WCTV) – Severe storms on Monday morning left plenty of damage in the Big Bend and South Georgia.
In Crawfordville, a home off Ivan Church Road had a large tree fall onto a garage and workshop, twisting the metal roof and busting three windows from homeowner Mike Decker’s Jeep.

Decker said he was home when the winds picked up quickly.
“It was quiet for a second, then it got windy, real loud and the trees were twisted and bending, and I saw it come from the backside of the house, and I thought pretty much that it was a tornado,” Decker said.

Decker said he is kicking himself for parking the Jeep in the garage as he thought it was the safer spot ahead of the storm, but is grateful his home and his family are okay.
