Ko Kieft, who was part of the 2022 draft class and had an expiring rookie contract, re-signed with the Buccaneers on Monday. Kieft was placed on injured reserve following a season-ending leg injury in the team’s win over the New York Jets in Week Three of the 2025 slate and in his absence, Payne Durham took on an elevated role. Kieft did not have a single reception when his 2025 campaign came to an abrupt halt, but he also made his presence felt on special teams as a rancorous tackler. Regarded as the “tone-setter” by teammates and coaches, Kieft will galvanize the offensive squad in 2026.
