JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — UPDATE: The 11-year-old girl the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office reported missing Wednesday has been found safe, according to the agency.

An 11-year-old girl last seen in the New Town area of Jacksonville has been reported missing.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office says the girl was reported missing after she left her home in the New Town area Tuesday night.
She was reportedly last seen walking barefoot on 6th Street near Kings Road, according to a sheriff’s office release. JSO says she is 5’3, weighs 140 pounds, and has brown eyes and black dreads.
JSO also says the girl was last seen wearing a short-sleeved black shirt and blue and white joggers.
