JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A family of four was rushed to Jacksonville hospitals after a crash left them with serious injuries, with two being airlifted.

Cody and Rosie were flown to a Jacksonville hospital while their daughters, just two and five years old, were taken to Wolfson’s Children’s Hospital with multiple bone fractures and internal injuries. The girls are expected to make a full recovery and will be released far earlier than their parents, according to a GoFundMe set up by a family friend.

Cody needs surgery on his wrist and may need multiple surgeries to rebuild his foot, followed by multiple weeks of physical therapy, the GoFundMe reads. Rosie’s left leg was amputated below the knee.

Both work for Hyatt hotels in downtown Jacksonville in the service industry, so the forthcoming medical expenses and childcare are daunting for the family.
