I-95 North shut down near JAX due to crash with injuries

A crash involving injuries shut down all lanes of I-95 North near Pecan Park Road Friday night.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Following a crash Friday night, all northbound lanes of I-95 are blocked.

The incident happened sometime around 7 p.m., before Pecan Park Road. The FL511 traffic map shows back-ups continuing down toward Airport Road. 

Officers appeared to be directing traffic slowly through on the shoulder of the road.

The Florida Highway Patrol reports injuries involved in the crash, although details are not yet clear.
