Some new flights are coming to a popular Florida airport!

Tampa International Airport is a popular airport for travel and Florida tourism, especially for theme park fans who want to visit Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, although some Disney World visitors also fly into Tampa. This airport continues to grow, with more airlines flying nonstop flights into it, and now two more nonstop flights have been added to the airport’s schedule.
Budget airline Breeze Airways is bringing two new nonstop international flights into Tampa International Airport, including service to and from San Jose, Costa Rica. This will make it easier for folks to travel to a country that happens to be Florida’s ninth-largest trading partner, as well as the 3,000 or so Costa Rican-born residents that currently live in the Tampa Bay area.

Flights to San Jose will begin on October 3rd and will operate on Wednesdays and Saturdays with departures at 6:40 AM from Tampa and 8:55 AM from San Jose.
But that’s not all. Breeze Airways will also be offering nonstop flights to and from Tampa International Airport to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Flights to Punta Cana will begin on July 2nd and will operate on Thursdays and Sundays with departures at 4:16 PM from Tampa and 8:11 PM from Punta Cana.

We’re thrilled that Breeze is adding these routes that give our travelers even more ways to experience the beauty and culture of Latin America and the Caribbean.”
These two new routes expand Breeze’s service at Tampa International Airport from two destinations to four. Breeze will launch nonstop flights to Nassau, The Bahamas, on June 11th, as well as Montego Bay, Jamaica, starting on December 19th.
