A Volusia County Sheriff’s deputy’s body camera caught a near miss tragedy when a trailer struck the driver’s side of his patrol vehicle. It happened following a traffic stop on Interstate 4 earlier this week. The video shows damage across the entire side of the vehicle with a portion of the rear passenger’s door ripped off. “It’s a brand new car too,” the deputy can be heard saying to other law enforcment present on the scene.
VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. —
A Volusia County Sheriff’s deputy’s body camera caught a near miss tragedy when a trailer struck the driver’s side of his patrol vehicle.
It happened following a traffic stop on Interstate 4 earlier this week.
The video shows damage across the entire side of the vehicle with a portion of the rear passenger’s door ripped off.
