Miami-Dade Animal Services seeks loving, permanent home for Sasha, other furry friends Miami-Dade Animal Services is seeking a loving, permanent home for Sasha and other furry friends at the shelter.

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — Miami-Dade Animal Services is looking to find a home for a new adoptable dog named Sasha, a 2-year-old pit bull mix described as mellow, affectionate and well-behaved.

An M-DAS spokesperson said Sasha recently arrived at the shelter and has already qualified for the Pawventure program, which allows dogs to spend time out in the community.

Staff say she is gentle, great with other dogs and people, and does well in the car, making her a strong candidate for a variety of homes.

Despite common misconceptions about pit bull-type breeds, officials say Sasha has shown no signs of aggression and is a loving, family-friendly pet.
