TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – The Lunchbox restaurant reopened to customers on Thursday, less than a week after a car crashed into the popular lunch spot.
On Monday, a car lost control at the intersection of Magnolia and Tennessee and plowed into the restaurant while customers were inside.
Two people were injured Monday afternoon after a vehicle crashed into The Lunchbox, according to the Tallahassee Police Department.(WCTV)
No one was seriously hurt, and a citation for careless driving was issued to the driver.
On Thursday, the lunchbox reopened to customers for lunch.
The car took out the rear dining room, destroyed a walk-in cooler, and stopped right before hitting three propane tanks.

This is the second time this has happened, as a car also crashed into the restaurant 27 years ago.
