The Cape Coral Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a person they would like to speak with in connection with an incident at the Yucca Pens Preserve over the weekend.CCPD also made an evidence database specific to this incident that anyone can submit pictures and videos to. Content can be submitted with contact information or anonymously.Officers said on March 15, they responded to the area after callers reported shots fired. While police dealt with the incident, a crash with injuries was also reported nearby. A person was severely injured and transported to a hospital via Lee Flight, police said. An ATV was also located in a nearby canal.A party got out of hand in the preserve over the weekend, and police responded. This is the same investigation.Gulf Coast News went to the party site and saw numerous shell casings and an ammunition box scattered across the ground.
