Pine Island Elementary received a generous gift of service on March 7 as volunteers from Cape Christian Fellowship hosted a Campus Serve Day as part of its community outreach efforts.
The dedicated group spent the day improving the school grounds through a variety of projects. Volunteers pressure-washed walkways and common areas, refreshed landscaping with new mulch, pulled weed, and laid new rock around parts of the campus. Their hard work and attention to detail helped transform the appearance of the school grounds.
Thanks to this effort, the campus now looks refreshed and beautiful. The day of service provided much-needed tender loving care to the outdoor spaces where students learn and play.
