DENTON, Texas (KLTV) – Former Jacksonville Maiden Riley Todd drove in five runs as Texas Woman’s split its doubleheader against Oklahoma Baptist on Wednesday.
Oklahoma Baptist won the first game 10-6, and Texas Woman’s won the second 20-4.
In the first game, Todd started in left field and batted eighth. She went 0-for-2 with an RBI. In the second inning, Todd hit a sacrifice fly to right field to score Trinity Perry. In the second game, Todd went 2-for-3 with a walk, four RBI and three runs. In the third inning, Todd cleared the bases with a grand slam over the left-field wall for her second home run of the season.
Texas Woman’s is now 14-14 overall. The Pioneers travel to San Antonio on Friday for a doubleheader against St. Mary’s.
