Recognition for Advocacy on Behalf of Student Veterans

Dr. Jan Del Signore, Associate Vice Chancellor of Military Affairs at Keiser University, was presented with the Dr. Joseph Wescott Legislative Award from the National Association of State Approving Agencies (NASAA) in recognition of her long-standing commitment to protecting veterans’ educational benefits and strengthening support for military-connected students.

Presented during NASAA’s Midwinter Training Meeting with several members of the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs (HVAC) in attendance, the honor highlights Dr. Del Signore’s leadership in championing policies that safeguard the GI Bill® and expand access to higher education for veterans.

Championing Veterans’ Educational Benefits

“I was beyond humbled and honored to be recognized and want to thank the Keiser University leadership for always supporting our student veterans over the years,” said Dr. Del Signore, who also had the opportunity to advocate on behalf of the National Association of Veterans’ Program Administrators (NAVPA) during the meeting.
