Orlando, FL (March XX, 2026) – The Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute welcomes longstanding community physicians Kevin Cox, MD, Jose Torres, MD, and Jacob Cox, MD to the team. The trusted orthopedic surgeons, formerly part of West Orange Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, will unite with Central Florida’s largest orthopedic group to continue delivering exceptional orthopedic care to patients in West Orange County and beyond.

The team has a long history of clinical ties with Orlando Health. Dr. Kevin Cox and Dr. Torres have both previously held physician leadership positions at Orlando Health – Health Central Hospital. Dr. Kevin Cox also completed his surgical internship and residency at Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC). Dr. Jacob Cox currently serves as vice-chief of surgery for Orlando Health – Health Central Hospital and Orlando Health Horizon West Hospital. He was also instrumental in earning Joint Commission certification for hip, knee and shoulder replacement at Orlando Health Horizon West Hospital.
