A high rip current risk will remain in effect along the Central Florida coastline all day and into Friday night.
Northerly winds are expected to pick up, with sustained speeds around 20 to 25 mph and gusts likely reaching up to 30 mph. These windy conditions are bringing breaking waves between 5 to 7 feet, making the surf especially choppy.

Spring brings pleasant temperatures, but the breeze is here to stay
It’s officially the first day of spring in Central Florida, and the region is feeling the change with comfortable, dry air and plenty of sunshine after a few morning clouds. Afternoon highs are expected to climb into the 70s.
