Front Runners & Walkers Fort Lauderdale (FRWFL) proudly announces the inaugural Love Wins 5K, a vibrant community race celebrating inclusivity, fitness, and pride. Taking participants on a scenic course up and down the heart of Wilton Drive the race takes place on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at 7:30 a.m.

Beginning and ending on the iconic Rainbow Bridge in Wilton Manors, runners and walkers of all abilities are invited to join this uplifting event that blends athletic achievement with community spirit. The Love Wins 5K will bring together athletes, neighbors, and supporters for a morning of movement, celebration, and unity in one of South Florida’s most welcoming communities.
“The Love Wins 5K represents everything our club stands for—health, inclusivity, and community,” said FRWFL President Eric Runyan. “Starting and finishing on the Rainbow Bridge makes this race especially meaningful as participants run through the heart of Wilton Manors, a city known for its pride and diversity.”
Participants will experience an out-and-back style course along Wilton Drive, lined with cheering spectators, local businesses, and community supporters. Whether racing for a personal record, walking with friends, or showing support for equality and acceptance, the Love Wins 5K welcomes everyone.
Prize money will be awarded to the top three finishers in the men’s, women’s, and non-binary divisions, recognizing outstanding athletic achievement while reinforcing the event’s commitment to inclusivity in sport.
In addition to the race itself, the Love Wins Race Festival will take place before and after the event at the Richardson Historic Park in Wilton Manors. The festival will feature a live DJ providing music and entertainment, along with community partners and vendors. Race awards and prize presentations will take place at the festival following the race, creating a lively and welcoming gathering space for runners, spectators, and supporters to celebrate together.
