Your weekend is here, Central Florida! Here’s a look at the news and what events are going on in the area.
Sunshine remains in place throughout Saturday and temperatures continue to climb pushing mainly to the lower and middle 80s Saturday and Sunday.
By mid next week, a cold front is expected to drop south out of the southeast providing chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, which will then lead to another surge in warm air across Central Florida.

ORANGE
67th Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival
All Weekend | One of the nation’s oldest, largest and most prestigious outdoor art festivals. The festival debuted in March 1960 as a community project to bring local artists and art lovers together.

BREVARD
Illumi-Nature at Brevard Zoo
Ongoing until May 10 | This spring the Zoo will transform into a night-time wonderland of glimmering lights from more than 1,000 illuminated whimsical displays of animals, flowers, mythical creatures and more.
Space Coast Hot Air Balloon Festival
All Weekend | Experience breathtaking tethered hot air balloon glows, dazzling laser light shows, and mesmerizing drone performances. The ultimate family entertainment.
Downtown Melbourne 5K Run/Walk
Saturday | 7:30 a.m. | Proceeds benefit THE HAVEN FOR CHILDREN, a residential and therapeutic home for children removed from their families due to abuse, neglect, or abandonment.
Spring Carnival and Market at Micco Park
Saturday | 9 a.m.-2 p.m. | Bring the whole family to Micco Park for a day packed with fun, food, and shopping. Enjoy a lively craft fair, food vendors, inflatables, games, and hands-on crafts for kids.
Manatee Education Day
Saturday | 10 a.m.-2 p.m. | Learn how manatees depend on healthy seagrass, clean waterways, and protected spaces including the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge.
FLAGLER
Flagler Beach Farmers Market
Saturday | 9 a.m.-1 p.m. | Held right in front of City Hall, get ready for another beautiful day of local shopping and discover everything your community has to offer.
European Village Farmers Market
Sunday | 12-4 p.m. | Over 40 local vendors selling handmade items, produce, and fruit. Family and pet friendly. Rain or shine. Come out and enjoy the Sunday market and all the Village has to offer. Free parking.
OSCEOLA
Hippity Hoppity Easter Egg Hunt
Every weekend until April 5 | 10 a.m.-2 p.m. | Hippity hop your way to Green Meadows Petting Farm for a spring day full of giggles, fresh air, and egg-citing fun.
Kowtown Festival at Kissimmee Lakefront Park
Saturday | 12-4 p.m. | Celebrate the City of Kissimmee’s big birthday bash! Kowtown Festival is an annual birthday party with live music from favorite local artists, vendors, and food trucks.
LAKE AND SUMTER
Mount Dora Spring Festival of Arts and Crafts
Saturday | 9 a.m.-5 p.m. | The streets come alive with 250 hand chosen exhibitors who showcase their unique talent to more than 50,000 visitors over 2 days. It is free to the public and features wine tasting, beer, cocktails and food vendors.
5th Annual Billy Berg Mac n Cheese Festival
Saturday | 10 a.m.-2 p.m. | This beloved community event is fun for all ages and features free mac n cheese samples, local business vendors, kids’ activities, and plenty of smiles. Held at the Wildwood Community Center.
Weekends at the Winery
Saturday | 12-4 p.m. | Enjoy an expansive vineyard green, including delicious food, live entertainment, and of course Lakeridge wines at an outdoor bar in Clermont.
Leesburg Blooms & Brews
Saturday | 12-3 p.m. | This highly anticipated spring tradition is held at Towne Square and continues until supplies last. This event is first come, first served and FREE!
MARION
Marion County Fair @ I-75 Flea Market
All Weekend | This family-fun annual community event features exciting midway rides and games for all ages, favorite fair food, live music, a petting zoo, and Victoria Circus shows.
7th Annual Marion Rotary Duck Derby
Saturday | 10 a.m. | The Rotary clubs of Marion County will race 5,000+ Rubber Ducks on Lake Tuscawilla in Midtown Ocala. If you adopt a duck and your duck is one of the first three ducks to cross the finish line, you’ll win an amazing cash prize.
SEMINOLE
Central Florida Zoo Extended Hours

Florida Heritage Day
Saturday | 10 a.m.-3 p.m. | Learn what it was like to live and work in and around Mosquito (now Ponce De Leon) Inlet at the turn of the 19th century as you explore the historic Ponce Inlet Light Station and the Constance D. Hunter Historic Pacetti Hotel Museum.
Manatee Island Seafood Fest
