March 20, 2026 – Tampa Bay educator Christine Laurenzi is launching a youth leadership competition, St. Pete Standout, April 18 at the University of South Florida’s Kate Tiedemann School of Business and Finance (at 700 4th Street S. in St. Petersburg). Middle and high school students from the region “will rotate through fast-paced, real-world challenges guided by business and community mentors,” according to the event’s Facebook page.
