Jones has continued to give back to his community and was at the GRO Run Club event this week

“I don’t care how many times I fight in my hometown, it’s just always exciting to see my fans, my family, my Day 1 supporters who’ve just been there for me,” Jones said.

Saturday will be Jones’ sixth professional fight and third in Orlando.

“My hard work and my dedication and my consistency to get to the point. I went through the trials and tribulations to get to the Olympics,” Jones said. “I have a great team. My family is with me, so I attribute a lot of that to having a successful team as well.”

Jones (5-0, 4 knockouts) has never lost sight of his community as his career has taken off. This week, he worked with local businesses and was at the GRO Run Club event in Orlando.

“Now that I’m in the opportunity and position as a professional fighter and Olympic bronze medalist, there’s no better way to give back and show kids the way that it’s possible to get to where you want to be in life,” Jones said.

As he turns his attention to Saturday night, Jones is looking to stay undefeated and continue his domination inside the ring.

“Saturday is exactly another opportunity to be great,” Jones said. “I’m looking for another great win, another dominant win in dominant fashion.”

Also on the card Saturday night is a WBC middleweight championship bout between Carlos Adames and Austin Williams.
