Dr. Harry Acevedo, a Tampa-based anesthesiologist, has been devoted to Porsches since his childhood in Puerto Rico. His 2024 Gentian blue Porsche GT3 is a thinly disguised race car for the street, with more than 500 horsepower and 9,000 rpm for a top speed of 193 mph.

“It’s my Sunday car,” he says with a grin, noting it’s one of just 524 in the United States. “I love its rawness.”

He recently ordered an electric Porsche Taycan for daily driving, but his Christmas present this year is a Porsche Carrera 4, adding to a garage that already holds a Porsche Cayenne, Macan and Boxster.
