Aerial photographer bioreconstruct shared a trio of Lakeshore Lodge shots, showing the addition of a bus shelter and more work on the pool and lazy river.
The framework for the bus shelter is the long rectangle seen in the lower right.
Bioreconstruct noted in a comment that the lazy river, one of the most anticipated features of the new resort, is definitely unconventional because it’s horseshoe-shaped instead of a full loop.
Lakeshore Lodge Progress Updates

The Disney Vacation Club resort, set to open in 2027, will be “inspired by the majesty of nature and its enduring influence on Disney artists.”
When the resort was first announced, it was marketed as a Princess and the Frog-inspired location set to be a full-on, standalone table service restaurant on Bay Lake. However, now that plans for the resort have changed, this may not be the case.

From the water, we got a look at steady progress on the A-Frame cabins that will be part of the new resort. Disney Lakeshore Lodge is being built next to Fort Wilderness Resort on the former River Country site, across the water from the abandoned Discovery Island in Bay Lake.
The cabins along Clementine Beach have started to receive roofing over the past weeks.
The various angles seen throughout our update are visible to guests of Disney’s Fort Wilderness Campground and anyone utilizing water transportation to and from Magic Kingdom from the resort’s central hub.
The angular entrance porte cochere continues to receive additional concrete reinforcement. This extended covered area will allow vehicles to pass through and will make it easy for guests to check in and out. From road side, we could also see red supports in the parking lot area. This could be future covered parking or a covered walkway.
