CAPE CORAL, Fla. (WINK) — A car was discovered submerged in a canal Saturday morning in Cape Coral, prompting a response from emergency crews, officials said.
A passerby reported the vehicle in the water near the 4500 block of Southwest Fifth Avenue, according to the Cape Coral Fire Department.
Dive teams searched the vehicle and the surrounding canal but did not find any victims.
The Cape Coral Police Department is investigating the incident.
