ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. (WITN) – Elizabeth City police say a Florida fugitive who kidnapped a child has been captured.
Delon Lee was charged today with interference with custody and a fugitive warrant.
Police say they were called to a report of a wanted fugitive near 1300 Walker Avenue around 1:20 p.m. Friday.
A three-year-old child was found safe and is in the process of going back to their family, according to officers.
The 26-year-old Lee was taken to Albemarle District Jail without bond.
