From the Firehouse: Rossman thanked for his dedicated service

Thank you to Gerls Rossman for 36 years of dedicated service with the Matlacha/Pine Island Fire Control District.

Rossman began his fire service career on March 1, 1990, serving on shift until his retirement in 2022. After retiring, he continued supporting the department as a repair technician, helping keep the fleet running and assisting with fire operations when needed.

His dedication, hard work and commitment to serving the community left a lasting impact on the department and those he served. He will always remain a valued member of the Matlacha/Pine Island Fire family.
