The assists record is done. Purdue won by 33 points in their first round matchup. They’ve apparently flipped the switch. This is the Purdue team we wanted. This is the Purdue team we believed in. This is the Purdue team that was promised. Now, unfortunately for them, they’ve got to prove it game after game. There’s no two ways about it, this team needs to keep winning to make this season a success. After dismantling #15 seed Queens Purdue will now take on #7 seed Miami who took down hometown favorite Missouri in the first round. Miami will have two players familiar to Purdue in Malik Reneau and Tre Donaldson. Former Big Ten foes from IU and Michigan respectively. Well, now it’s time to take them down one more time.
