Following the initial waves of free agency, NFL.com’s Chad Reuter put together a four-round mock draft, and the Jacksonville Jaguars went heavy on the defensive side of the ball.
After a quiet free agency period, the draft will be the Jaguars‘ primary means this offseason for elevating the overall roster.
Although the Jaguars are without a first-round pick, GM James Gladstone still has plenty of draft capital to work with, which includes five picks in the first four rounds and four picks in the top 100.
Let’s break down Reuter’s mock.
Pick 56: Rayshaun Benny, DT, Michigan
Measuring in at 6-4 – 305, Benny logged 18 pressures last season and was a top graded run defender from the interior last season. Addressing the defensive tackle position is arguably the Jaguars’ biggest need at the moment.

Most of Haulcy’s snaps have come at free safety, but he has his share of box experience as well. In 2025, he recorded three interceptions and four pass breakups, while surrendering 11.5 yards per catch. His missed tackle rate, according to PFF, was on the high side.
Although the Jaguars lost Andrew Wingard in free agency, safety doesn’t seem to be a huge need with Eric Murray and Antonio Johnson starting, along with Caleb Ransaw and Rayuan Lane on the roster to provide depth. The urgency with which Gladstone addresses this need is dependent on his confidence in Ransaw and Lane.
Pick 88: Kyle Louis, LB, Pitt
Louis has been very effective as a blitzer, recording 50 pressures over the last two seasons. In coverage, he’s logged five pass breakups and six interceptions the last two years, while holding pass catchers to 8.4 yards per catch.
Gladstone detailed the Jaguars’ plan at linebacker without Devin Lloyd, but this is certainly a position we could still see Jacksonville add to.
Pick 100: Charles Demmings, CB, Stephen F. Austin State
Last season, Demmings allowed a completion rate of just 49%, while coming away with four interceptions and six pass breakups. He did give up 13.6 yards per catch as well. Re-signing Montaric Brown stabilized the cornerback position for the Jaguars, but this is a position where we will likely see Gladstone make an addition.
Pick 124: Marlin Klein, TE, Michigan
Klein caught 37 passes over the last two seasons, averaging just under 10 yards per reception. He hauled in one touchdown as well. Of his career snaps, 64% have come as a blocker, which is important to playing this position in Liam Coen’s offense. We recently detailed why tight end is an under-the-radar need for the Jaguars.
