WEYMOUTH, Mass. – The Boston College men’s tennis team (4-10, 0-8 ACC) fell 4-0 to Miami (10-8, 3-5 ACC) Sunday afternoon at the Weymouth Club.
In doubles play, the Eagles were narrowly topped as Miami claimed the point with wins at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles, both by identical scores of 6-4. The top duo, Liam O’Leary and Matvey Greschner, were locked in a tight battle at 5-4 when play was halted.
The Eagles continued to fight in singles, highlighted by some strong battles across the lineup. At No. 3, Matvey Greschner took the opening set 6-4 before the match was left unfinished in the third. Luke Levanat (No. 5) and Lukas Rais (No. 6) each split sets before their matches were left unfinished. Miami clinched the match, 4-0, with straight-set victories at No. 2, No. 1 and No. 4 singles.
