ORLANDO, Fla. (WFLA) — The Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued a statewide Missing Child Alert for 13-year-old Na’Sean Kirkland on March 21.

Kirkland is a black male, 5 feet 5 inches tall, 95 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen in a residential neighborhood in Maitland, just north of Orlando.

The boy’s parents told law enforcement that he is autistic, non-verbal, and attracted to water. He was last seen wearing a black shirt with green writing, gray shorts and no shoes.

The Maitland Police Department said he and his brother left their home at around 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, but the brother was later found alone and was unable to provide information about Kirkland’s whereabouts.

As of 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 22, law enforcement was still searching for the boy.
