A man was shot multiple times Saturday night in South Miami-Dade and eventually died from his injuries.
Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a call at 9:57 p.m. about a shooting near the area of 174th Street and Homestead Avenue. When they arrived, they found a man who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
Miami-Dade Fire and Rescue brought the man, who was in critical condition, to Jackson South Medical Center. He died at the hospital shortly thereafter.
The Sheriff’s Office did not say if anyone was arrested in the case. No further details were available Sunday.
