ONSLOW COUNTY, NC — A Jacksonville man is facing several felony charges after court records show he was found with drugs, more than 100 pills, and a stolen handgun.

According to arrest warrants from the Pikeville Police Department, 35-year-old Jarmil Prunes was arrested Saturday, March 21.

Investigators say he was in possession of methamphetamine, along with more than 100 tablets, capsules, and dosage units of Ironman Biotech Testosterone 300, a controlled substance.

Police also say Prunes had a black Ruger LCP .380 handgun that had been reported stolen.

Authorities say Prunes is not allowed to have a firearm because of a prior felony conviction. Records show he was convicted of felony possession of methamphetamine in Onslow County in 2025 and was placed on supervised probation.

He’s now charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a stolen firearm, and possession of a firearm by a felon.

Prunes is being held in the Onslow County Jail without bond and is scheduled to appear in court on March 23.
