TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A home was destroyed in a Monday morning house fire on Comet Drive, according to the Tallahassee Fire Department.
Around 7:30 a.m., firefighters arrived at the single-story home where flames extending to a nearby mobile home.
According to the Woodville Volunteer Fire Department, which also responded to the scene, several explosions were reported during the early stages of the fire.

WVFD said “all residents two and four legged escaped without injury.”
The home was deemed a total loss, according to TFD. The nearby mobile home sustained partial damage and crews were able to prevent the fire from spreading further, TFD said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by TFD’s Prevention Division.
