Some guests were traveling aboard a Disney bus leaving Disney Springs, headed to Wilderness Lodge on Friday, March 20, when they collided with a vehicle that was trying to beat the red light.
The bus left the Disney Springs loop around approximately 7 PM and headed down Buena Vista Drive when a driver tried to make a left turn against the light, not realizing the bus lanes were active and had the right of way.
The bus driver did what he could to swerve and slow, but a collision with the vehicle happened. The bus was not at capacity as everyone aboard had a seat, and reportedly, there were no serious injuries. The guests were then seen by a Disney medical team within 10-15 minutes. They were transferred to another bus within half an hour.
The bus appears to have a cracked windshield, though it seems there is no visible damage on the doors. The vehicle that caused the collision looks to have a damaged car door and window.
