FORT PIERCE – The State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of a fire that occurred on March 21 at an apartment complex in the 2000 block of Oleander Boulevard, Fort Pierce.
St. Lucie County Fire District crews responded to a structure fire at about 12:44 p.m., March 21. A second alarm was called in at 12:54 p.m. and the fire was brought under control by 1:03 p.m., according to fire district reports.
The Red Cross is assisting occupants from six units. No injuries were reported and a cat was safely rescued.
