Miami, FL – Authorities say a man is in custody following a hit and run crash that left two spring break visitors dead in Miami Beach.
According to investigators and details outlined in the arrest report, the suspect allegedly struck the pedestrians along Collins Avenue before leaving the scene.
The victims, both in their early twenties and visiting from out of state, were crossing the roadway when the collision occurred.
Police say emergency responders transported both individuals to a nearby hospital, where they later died from their injuries.
