An email survey sent to Universal Orlando Annual Passholders (UOAPs) asks for opinions on three different options for incorporating Epic Universe access.
As a disclaimer, this is only a survey. There is currently no official information regarding if, when, or how Universal Orlando Resort will incorporate Epic Universe into its UOAP access.
All three concepts asked UOAPs to “think about price for a moment,” noting that the 2-Park Preferred Pass is currently $530/year and asking what they would expect each type of Epic Universe access would cost. The survey also questioned UOAPs’ likelihood of renewal and expectation of visit frequency if Epic Universe access were added in each of the presented fashions.
Concept 1: Epic-Inclusive Discounted 3-Year Pass

Annual Passholders have the option to gain access to Epic Universe by upgrading to, renewing as, or purchasing a 3-Year Epic-Inclusive Annual Pass with Universal Orlando Resort. This provides a lower per-year price compared to renewing annually and requires a three-year commitment. Visit date selections are not required at the time of purchase, but must be reserved prior to each visit to Epic Universe. Blockout dates apply. Access is subject to availability and capacity limits.
The first concept presented is an annual pass that includes Epic Universe access, but you are committed to the pass for three years. This supposedly results in a lower per-year price than if it were to be renewed annually. Reservations would be required for each visit, and blockout dates apply.
Concept 2: Annual Pass Upgrade that Includes Epic Universe
Annual Passholders have the option to gain access to Epic Universe by upgrading to, renewing as, or purchasing an Annual Pass with Universal Orlando Resort. Visit date selections are not required at the time of purchase, but must be reserved through a multi-step reservation process prior to each visit to Epic Universe. For changes, the reservation must be canceled and rebooked. Blockout dates apply. Access is subject to availability and capacity limits.
The second concept presented is another annual pass tier that would include Epic Universe access. However, to visit Epic, UOAPs would have to go through a “multi-step reservation process” to plan a trip. These reservations also cannot be modified once made, only canceled and rebooked, and blockout dates apply.
Concept 3: “Pick 3” Epic Universe Ticket Bundle Add-On
Annual Passholders have the option to purchase a multi-day Epic Universe ticket bundle that allows one person to visit Epic on three (3) separate days of their choice during a specified 3-month access window. Visit date selections are not required at the time of purchase, but must be reserved prior to each visit. Blockout dates apply. Access is subject to availability and capacity limits.
The final access idea is a UOAP-exclusive ticket bundle add-on. This ticket bundle would allow UOAPs to visit Epic on three separate, non-consecutive days during a specific three-month window. Reservations would be required for each visit, and blockout dates apply.
The last part of the survey presents ideas for Annual Passholder engagement and asks for opinions and rankings, with five options: Express Pass for Shows, Early Bird Incentives, Dynamic Express Pass, Exclusive Park Hours, and Gift a Pass. It does not specify whether these options would be solely for Epic Universe or for Universal Orlando Resort as a whole.
