Funny Bone Comedy Club Originally a theater in Ybor City’s heyday, the large ceilings and three-level seating let the laughs echo across the building. The attached bar has its own stage for regular open mics. Side Splitters Comedy Club (Tampa) A Tampa staple for more than three decades, the seating offers good sight lines and sound from anywhere in the showroom. The accompanying bar area is a good place for a pre-show drink. Side Splitters Comedy Club (Wesley Chapel) The showroom looks just like a movie theater, because it is a movie theater. Side Splitters replaces the big screen with stand-up at The Grove every weekend. Snappers Grill & Comedy Club Located in a strip mall in Palm Harbor, this long-running grill and comedy club has a sizable, colorful showroom for stand-up, a separate restaurant and an outdoor patio area for live music. Sunshine City Comedy Club A small, boutique-style club with audience and performer huddled close together to share laughter. One of the rare venues with shows every night of the week. The Commodore Founded in 2023 and located on the border of Ybor City and Tampa Heights, this former pool hall has become Tampa’s go-to for improv comedy, plus special events like concerts, and the monthly Salud and Happy Days series.
