“This remains an open and active investigation and updates will be provided as more information becomes available,” TPD said.

It was the second shooting of the weekend, following gunfire March 20 at Apalachee Point Apartments on Southwood Plantation Road. Two men were injured in that shooting, which remains under investigation by the Leon County Sheriff’s Office.
