Troopers said “#RocketMan” was pulled over in Plant City after multiple concerned drivers called 911.
PLANT CITY, Fla — Multiple 911 calls about missiles in the back of a truck on Interstate 4 turned out to be a false alarm.
The Florida Highway Patrol responded to State Road 39 in Plant City following calls from concerned drivers Sunday afternoon.
Troopers said they pulled over “#RocketMan” after spotting two large missile-like structures mounted in the back of his Ford pickup truck.
They quickly determined that the projectiles were just plastic devices used for shows and events — and even snapped a quick selfie with the props.
The man isn’t facing any charges, just a “strong suggestion” on how to better transport the devices.
