A section of previously scored sidewalk has been replaced outside Crystal Arts as walkway repair work continues in Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World.
Pavement Replaced on Main Street, U.S.A.
The sidewalk refurbishment project started on March 18 in Magic Kingdom, when we noticed roped-off areas surrounding areas of pavement that had been scored for removal. One of those sections was replaced overnight, although it remains cordoned off from foot traffic. You can clearly see the color difference in the new section, which is located outside Crystal Arts.
We’ll likely see more signs of work along the Main Street, U.S.A. sidewalks over the next couple of weeks as refurbishment progresses. The refurbishment has even extended onto Main Street, U.S.A. itself, with Cast Members helping direct guests around the roped areas.
The red and yellow safety boards remain outside Crystal Arts. These kinds of boards usually cover unsafe patches on the ground that have been torn up due to construction.
