The first international break of 2026 is here, and AC Milan have got several players representing them on a national level, leaving Milanello almost empty.
It has been a pretty up and down run for Milan recently, but their win against Torino was strengthened by Inter’s inability to beat Fiorentina away from home. So, they can dream of a Scudetto battle when they return.
Of course, it would be a much different picture had they won against Parma and Lazio in recent weeks. However, they are still in the mix, and they will be fired straight back into business with a trip to Naples awaiting them.
Given the stakes of this international break for some, it could be a chance for a mental lockdown ahead of the World Cup, whilst others may be able to rest a little.
