ST. PETE BEACH — The charming Corey Avenue district will be transformed once again into a showcase of contemporary crafts and fine art from skilled artisans. The Corey Avenue Art & Craft Festival will be presented on Saturday and Sunday, April 4-5, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Corey Avenue in St. Pete Beach.

A beloved, long-running tradition, this popular, free two-day event transforms the heart of St. Pete Beach into a lively, open-air marketplace and a key economic driver for local shops and restaurants. Hosted by the Corey Area Business Association, the festival is a must-visit for art lovers, collectors, and anyone seeking unique, handcrafted treasures while supporting the historic district. The event is pet and family friendly, and admission is free.

“For over three decades, the Corey Avenue Art & Craft Festivals have been a cornerstone of our community, bringing world-class artistry right to our doorstep,” said CABA event organizer Suzanne King. “We invite everyone to stroll the avenue, meet our talented vendors and most importantly, support the diverse array of small businesses, boutiques, and locally owned restaurants that make Corey Avenue unique.”

Attendees will find a curated collection of crafts and fine art. The festival will feature a diverse array of unique, American-made items, including stunning jewelry and accessories, functional pottery and ceramics, original fine art (paintings and photography), and stylish clothing and home décor.

Among the vendors scheduled to participate in the event is Abe Kowitz, a self-taught landscape photographer who began his art career back in 2013 in Hawaii. As a hobby photographer, he became inspired to sell works of art by learning about a process to transfer photos onto wood. His style was born: “local photos on local wood, the grain like brushstrokes in a painting with live edge framing.”

Also taking part in the festival is Cassie Carter, the maker behind Cheeky Maiden Soap Company, a small-batch bath, body and home care line rooted in simple, honest ingredients. Inspired by her upbringing on a working cattle ranch and a passion for natural living, she handcrafts soaps, candles, and household products using traditional methods and thoughtfully sourced materials. Many herbs and flowers used in her products are grown in her own garden or sourced from local farmers. Each item is designed to be beautiful, practical, and gentle for everyday use — bringing a little luxury, sustainability, and authenticity into the home.

Complementing the artisan booths on Sunday, April 5, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., is an expansive green market, offering a selection of exotic plants, handmade soaps, gourmet spices, and other specialty food items.

Beyond the vendors, the festival encourages visitors to fully explore the surrounding shops. Patrons can step off the street and into beloved local spots like Chill Restaurant & Bar, Twisted Tiki Bar & Grill, and specialty boutiques like Coastal Cottage and JoJo’s Boutique & Curvy Mermaid for lunch, a cocktail, or some retail therapy. The festival provides a free, fun, and community-focused experience that directly benefits the economic health of the Corey Avenue district.
