RALEIGH, N.C. – Competing at the City of Oaks Collegiate tournament hosted by North Carolina State, the Jacksonville Dolphins women’s golf team finished 13th out of 13 competing teams Tuesday.

The Dolphins posted a final team score of +82, shooting rounds of +30, +17 and +35 over three days in the Tarheel State. It was the second-best score of the 2026 season for the ‘Phins.

Jacksonville finished just five shots behind 12th place Howard and seven shots behind FDU overall.

Freshman Hannah Lowery paced the team with a +18-finishing score. Lowery’s best round was during the second day of competition, shooting a team-best +1 with three birdies. She finished with six birdies overall and ended her tournament at T35 individually.

Right behind Lowery was Issy Hopkins and her +19 final scorecard. Hopkins too played well on Monday, shooting a +3 with a team-high four birdies. She finished T42.

Alexis Rieli (+22) and Erin Marcelino (+24) rounded out the team play for Jacksonville with Kit Schaefer earning an individual score of +45.

Rieli had the low round on opening day, carding a +6, while Marcelino carded the team’s low on the final day of competition with a +7. Schaefer earned a pair of birdies over the tournament.

Jacksonville found itself in 11th place after two days of play but dropped two spots on Tuesday in part due to a surge from Campbell which climbed three spots.

The program has just one more regular season tournament left before the ASUN Championships begin. Jacksonville heads up to Greenville, North Carolina for the Ironwood Invitational hosted by East Carolina University April 5-7 at the Ironwood Golf and Country Club.
