Fort Lauderdale Fire Rig Hit at Crash Scene

An engine from Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue was struck by a vehicle involved in a previous crash early Wednesday.

Three civilians involved in the initial collision were transported to a trauma center at Broward Health Medical Center.

The fire truck was struck by one of the vehicles as well. The firefighters aboard were not hurt, WPLG reported.

The investigation is continuing.
