PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. — Students at four Pinellas County schools could have new start times this fall.
Parents received a letter about proposed changes at St. Pete High, Dunedin High and Largo Middle and Largo High School.

District officials said the change would be to better manage the bus schedules.
The biggest shift would be at Largo Middle, where the school board wants to move the starting bell from 9:40 to 7:25, more than two hours earlier.
Largo High’s start time would move 10 minutes later to 7:35 a.m.
Start times at St. Pete and Dunedin high schools would be 20 minutes later to 7:45 a.m.
The school board is scheduled to vote on the proposal on April 14.
